About the IRB


Oklahoma State University (OSU) is committed to and guided by the ethical principles regarding all research involving human subjects as set forth in the report of the National Commission for the Protection of Human Subjects of Biomedical and Behavioral Research entitled, Ethical Principles and Guidelines for the Protection of Human Subjects of Research, often referred to as the Belmont Report.

This web site is provided by the Office of Research Compliance to assist OSU faculty, staff and students involved in research using human subjects in meeting the basic requirements and procedures that arise from these ethical principles and the resulting regulations. Through the information provided by this site, we strive to provide effective and efficient service to the OSU research community.
