New IRB Submission System - IRBManager
On January 16, 2018, the Oklahoma State University Institutional Review Board (OSU IRB) launched an electronic submission system using IRBManager. The new electronic submission system allows for a more efficient submission, review, and approval process for IRB protocols. The last day the OSU IRB accepted old applications, on the old system, was January 5, 2018.
The OSU IRB will be transitioning all active protocols (i.e. protocols that are still enrolling subjects) at the time of continuation. All continuations of active protocols submitted beginning January 16, 2018 are to be entered in the IRBManager system as a new IRB protocol. On the administrative information page in IRBManager please use the “add note” feature to indicate your current protocol number, this will ensure that the file is routed to continuation processing and not new application processing and won’t cause unnecessary delays in obtaining approval for the continuation. The link to login to the IRBManager system is IRBManager.
If your study is in follow-up or for analysis of identifiable information only, then you are able to choose whether you want to file with the current form or transition your study to IRBManager.
