Research Week 2015 Keynote Speaker Announced

(October 1, 2014 STILLWATER) – National Public Radio science correspondent Ira Flatow will be the keynote speaker for Oklahoma State University’s annual Research Week, Feb. 16-20, 2015. Speaking Feb. 18 in the Student Union Theater, Flatow, an award-winning journalist and host of NPR’s Science Friday, will talk about Unusual Patents: Where do Ideas Come From? As host of a weekly radio show, Flatow reaches an audience of 2 million listeners with discussions about science, technology, health, space and the environment.

Research Week features speakers, symposiums, performances and presentations highlighting research and creative activity. The schedule of events is being developed now and OSU faculty are invited to include research or scholarly activities sponsored by their departments.
