Oklahoma State University has partnered with BioRender to offer a premium license for life science faculty and graduate students on the OSU-Stillwater campus at no cos to users!

BioRender is an online software tool that helps scientists create and share beautiful, professional science figures in minutes.

All free plan features, plus

• Unlimited figures
• Figures can be used in journal publications, published theses/dissertations, grant proposals, etc.
• High-resolution export without watermarks
• Create slide decks with Slides Beta
• Effortlessly draw cells, membranes, and more with Premium 'bio-brushes'
• Illustrate changes in temperatures, pH, and more with color gradients

How Do I Access OSU's Premium Account?

Two Options:

1. OSU faculty and staff in these academic departments have automatic access to the premium license:

• Biology
• Microbiology and Molecular Genetics
• Nutritional Sciences
• Veterinary Clinical Sciences
• Veterinary Pathobiology
• Physiological Sciences
• Animal and Food Sciences
• Biochemistry & Molecular Biology
• Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering
• Entomology & Plant Pathology
• Environmental Science Grad Program
• Horticulture and Landscape Architecture
• Natural Resource Ecology and Management
• Plant and Soil Sciences

Graduate students in the following programs have automatic access to the premium license:  Integrative Biology; Microbiology/Cell and Molecular Biology; Plant Biology; Dietetics; Nutritional Sciences; Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering; Animal Sciences; Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; Crop Science; Entomology; Environmental Sciences; Food Science; Horticulture, Natural Resource Ecology and Management; Plant Pathology; Plant and Soil Sciences; Comparative Biological Sciences; Neuroscience

To access OSU's premium license, please use the OSU portal.

2. If you are a faculty, staff, or graduate student in a department OTHER than those noted above, please email vprprograms@okstate.edu and we will add you to the OSU user list.

The license does not extend to the OSU-Center for Health Sciences.
