Acknowledging HPCC

Please report all OSU HPCC facilitated publications and grants to hpcc@okstate.edu. Note that publications can include dissertations and/or theses that you directed and/or chaired the committee of. Please specify if undergraduate or graduate student co-authors are included.
A publication that is based in whole or in part on computations performed using OSU HPCC systems, including but not limited to hardware, storage, networking and/or software, should incorporate the folling text into the Acknowledgements section of the publication:
1. [Some of] The computing for this project was performed at the High Performance Computing Center at Oklahoma State University (OSU).
If any OSU HPCC staff member(s) assisted with the work in any way, then for each OSU HPCC staff member that was involved in the work
1. Note: This requirement can be waived for tenure track (but not yet tenured) faculty in the faculty member has a compelling tenure-related interest in, for example, producing single-author publications.
2. A list of OUS HPCC personnel can be found here
3. If the publication includes a substantial amount of text about the work that the OSU HPCC staff member contributed to, and if the OSU HPCC staff member did a substantial amount of development or optimization of software, and/or they contributed significantly to the writing of the publication, then that staff member should be included as a co-author on that publication, with author order to be negotiated amoung the authors.
4. If the conditions above do not apply, then the OSU HPCC staff member should be acknowledged by name and job title in the "Acknowledgements" section of the paper.
