Conflict of Interest

COI Review Committee

Established by the Vice President for Research in 2021, the Conflict of Interest Review Committee (CIRC) is comprised of at least three (3) members of the OSU faculty, staff, or administration with relevant background or expertise. Members are appointed for a three-year term. The Committee meets to review disclosures referred by the Research Conflict of Interest Officer and determine if any referred Statement of Financial Interest (SFI) constitutes a Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) and, if so, what modifications or conditions, if any, should be implemented to manage, reduce, or eliminate the FCOI.
