Laboratory Inspection

Laboratories involved in select agent activities must be inspected no less frequently than once per year. Refer to the complete section on laboratory inspections for details about our procedures. A protocol will not be approved without a current, satisfactory lab inspection report being on file with the Office of University Research Compliance. The inspection report must be at the containment level required for the select agent project, or re-inspection of the lab will be required. Your protocol application and your request for a laboratory inspection may be submitted to the Office of University Research Compliance simultaneously.
