Laboratory Security

All laboratories should adopt laboratory security practices to minimize opportunities for unauthorized entry and the unauthorized removal of infectious materials from their facilities. Security requirements for facilities handling infectious agents become more stringent as the risk and biosafety levels increase. Refer to the Security Plans link (or contact the Biological Safety Officer) for specific requirements for lab security.
