- Research on Tap
Held the third Monday of each month during the academic year, the Division of Research partners with Stillwater's Iron Monk Brewery to host a community engagement event with guest experts from a wide range of research fields. Researchers from all discipline areas join the Vice President for Research to have a conversation regarding their work and the impact it has on the community.
This event is open to the public - and community members are encouraged to attend!
Research on Tap Schedule - Summer Undergraduate Research Expo
Held the last week of July, the Division of Research partners with the OSU Office of Scholar Development and Undergraduate Research, the McNair Scholars Program, the Oklahoma Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation, and academic units with official summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) programs to host a summer poster symposium to showcase the research activities of undergraduate student who are participating in formal research programs.
This event is open to the public.
- Niblack Research Scholars Day
This all-day research symposium includes oral presentations by undergraduate Niblack Research Scholars who have recently completed their research activities. We welcome Dr. John and Heidi Niblack back to the OSU campus as special guests for this event.
This event is open to all members of the OSU community.
- OSU Researchers Reception
Held annually in mid-March, the Division of the Vice President for Research hosts this event to celebrate research by faculty and investigators from all disciplines.
This is an invitation-only event.
- Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium
Held in mid-April in tandem with the national Council on Undergraduate Research's (CUR) Undergraduate Research Week, this event is an opportunity for undergraduate students to present what they have learned through their research experiences to the OSU campus community. The Symposium includes presentations by students from all academic disciplines. The event is hosted by the OSU Undergraduate Research Committee.
